Double Boost Days are when developers decide to give all players either Double XP, Double Kudos or Double Drop Rate for a limited time. They are usually on weekends and are announced beforehand but may be done without notice, even sometimes simply due to player voting on global chat.
Double Boost days are the developers way of encouraging players to play more, sometimes for reasons such as; new Patch testing, new AirMech/Unit availability, or system stability check. Double Boosts stack with already existing boosts of Level XP,Kudos and VIP Status.
Double XP[]
When activated, blue player level XP bar turns to green during the event and a banner shown at top of the global chat to warn the players. During the Double XP period, all game Level XP rewards are simply doubled (stacks) allowing players fast leveling up to unlock level related Quests.
Double Kudos[]
When activated, blue player level XP bar turns to yellow during the event and a banner shown at top of the global chat to warn the players. During the Double Kudos period, all game Kudos rewards are simply doubled (stacks) allowing players fast Kudos gain to unlock newly introduced AirMechs and Units.
Double Drop Rate[]
When activated, blue player level XP bar turns to darker blue during the event and a banner shown at top of the global chat to warn the players. During the Double Drop Rate period, all game Drop Systems rewards are simply doubled allowing players fast Drop Rates to obtain items in a very short period of time.
Since Drop Boost Cube design changed from blue to red, it may be expected to follow the new color scheme.

- Double Kudos was available at the start of Cinco de Mayo Seasonal.
- Double XP & Kudos was available when AirMech class Paladin was introduced.
- Double XP was available when units Brute and Sonya were introduced.
- Double XP was available for a few hours on August 17th, 2013 due voting.
- Double XP was available for a few hours on August 25th, 2013 due testing new features.
- Double Drop Rate was available for a week during Penny Arcade eXpo Seasonal.
- Double XP was available for a few hours on September 13th, 2013 due celebrating a player's contribution, at which time the banner was changed to be above the chat (moved from the old icon location)
- Double XP was available for a few hours on October 27th, 2013 due recent server issues & commemorate faithful players
